YUMA, AZ...SUCKS
Today is November 19th. The winter-birds have arrived (WA, OR, ND, and Canada) and have jammed up the roads with their slow and erratic driving. They have crowded the grocery stores with their slow moving shopping carts and have depleted the shelves of anything you thought would be available on most days i.e. bread, eggs, lettuce. I've lived in Yuma 1 day too long. I should have said NO the day I got here and headed back to normalcy, civilization. I hate it. Hate is not even a strong enough word. It's the middle of November and it is still too damn hot. Thanksgiving is in a few days and instead of feeling the comfort and warmth of a fire, I will be wearing shorts and flip flops just to stay sane in an already hot environment. I hate Yuma. Did I mention that?
